Good people.
Great expeditions.
Shared rewards.
Know someone dreaming of an expedition? Introduce them to Expedition Advisory. We’ll help them find the right voyage, and you’ll earn a referral payment when they book. Anyone can refer: friends, past travellers, colleagues and expedition professionals alike.
Become a referral partnerNo expedition background needed. Just a trusted introduction.
on successful bookings
We handle the research, advice and booking.
You connect us.
We take it from there.
Three straightforward steps, built around the relationships you already have.
Make an introduction
Know someone planning an expedition? Introduce them to Expedition Advisory with their permission, or share your personal referral link once you’re approved.
We look after them
We compare operators, ships and itineraries, arrange their booking and provide personal support through to departure. You don’t need to manage the enquiry.
Share in the reward
Once the booking is completed and EA receives its commission from the operator, we pay you 15% of the actual net commission received.
What could you earn?
Individual referral partners receive 15% of the actual net commission EA receives. The examples below assume the operator pays EA a 10% commission.
An Antarctic Peninsula booking for two at USD $30,000 would earn you USD $450 on that basis.
| Booking value | EA receives10% commission | You receive15% of EA’s commission |
|---|---|---|
| $15,000Solo traveller · Shared-cabin fare | $1,500 | $225 |
| $30,000Two travellers · Antarctic Peninsula Typical booking range: $30k-$40k | $3,000 | $450 |
| $60,000Two travellers · Longer voyage, including South Georgia Typical booking range: $45k-$60k | $6,000 | $900 |
| $80,000Two travellers · Higher-end suite Typical booking range: $60k-$120k | $8,000 | $1,200 |
| $100,000Two travellers · Higher-end suite Another example within the $60k-$120k range | $10,000 | $1,500 |
Some operators pay EA a higher rate. We calculate your payment using the commission actually received, so your 15% share increases accordingly.
Illustrative booking scenarios only, not current offers, fare quotes or guaranteed earnings. Ships, cabins, inclusions and departure dates vary; single occupancy may cost more. The referral share applies to EA’s net commission, not the booking value. Taxes, refunds and reversals are excluded.

The right voyage.
Personal advice.
With one of the largest networks of expedition operators, spanning 82 ships, we help travellers find the right voyage. From Antarctica and the Arctic to the Kimberley, Galápagos and beyond, our advice is shaped by experience from the field.
Independent operator comparisons
We compare ships, itineraries and cabins across our operator network to find a voyage that fits the traveller.
No additional advisory fees
Clients pay the operator’s fare. Our advice and booking support cost them nothing extra.
Firsthand expedition experience
Years working at sea inform our advice on life aboard, time ashore and the details that make a difference.
Support from enquiry to departure
A personal point of contact for research, booking and practical preparation.
“We believe great expeditions begin with good advice and trusted introductions. Our experience aboard expedition ships shapes the care we bring to every enquiry. This programme is our way of thanking the people who connect travellers with us, whether you work in expedition, have travelled with us or simply know someone planning their next adventure.”
Questions,
answered.
A simple arrangement, with clear expectations on both sides.
When do I receive my referral payment?
Payment is due only after the eligible booking is completed and EA has received its commission from the operator. It is not triggered by an enquiry or deposit. Payment arrangements will be set out in your partner agreement.
What if they book months after my introduction?
The proposed referral window is 12 months from the recorded initial introduction. Make sure EA knows you referred the traveller at the start, so the introduction can be attributed to you.
Do I need to sell or handle the booking?
No. Your role is to make a trusted introduction. EA handles the research, advice, availability, booking arrangements and client support.
Do you work with travel agencies?
Yes. We offer inter-agency referral partnerships with commission sharing negotiated individually by email. Contact info@expeditionadvisory.co to discuss your agency and the support you need. The fee, client relationship, responsibilities and payment timing will be agreed in writing before proceeding.
Can anyone join, and is there a fee?
Yes. You don’t need to work in the expedition industry. Friends, past travellers, colleagues and expedition professionals can all express interest. There’s no joining fee or minimum number of referrals. EA will confirm your participation and the full terms before you start.
Can I refer someone while working for an operator?
Only where your employment arrangements and the operator’s policies permit it. Disclose that you may receive a referral payment, and do not imply your employer endorses EA. Do not use passenger databases or solicit guests contrary to company policies.
Does this apply to repeat bookings or existing clients?
The proposed reward applies to the referred traveller’s first eligible booking only. Existing EA leads and clients are excluded unless agreed with EA beforehand.

Your clients.
Our expedition expertise.
Looking for specialist expedition support for your clients? We also welcome inter-agency referral partnerships, with access to our network of expedition operators and personal advice on ships, itineraries and cabins.
Commission sharing is negotiated individually by email, based on the operator’s commission and the support each agency provides. We’ll agree the referral fee, client relationship, booking responsibilities and payment timing in writing before proceeding.
Agency arrangements are agreed separately from the 15% individual referral programme.
